Are you satified with your job? If you could do anything you wanted, would your current job be it?

For me it's Yes, and No.

I like my job, and it's pretty satifying. But it's not my dream job.

All I ever wanted in life was to be a Police Officer, and here I am. For the most part, it is very satisfying. Yes, I deal with a lot of crap that no one should ever have to deal with, but the good days WAY outweigh the bad. It's the worst job in the world, but it's the greatest career in the world.

In God we trust, all others are suspects.

I am satisified with what I do (an accountant). Is it my dream job? NO, but the Red Sox only need one right fielder. or the Celtics don't need a 6 foot 47 yo point guard.

We are the people our parents warned us about.

True on those things, but I know that around here there are several semi-pro baseball teams. If you can't play in the big leagues, you could still do something like that.

The reason I asked these questions was that my wife and I were talking about the subject at a military reunion last weekend. I was saying that I wished I could still serve. She said, basically, "why don't you". So I just applied to three places yesterday for my "dream job" - the NGA, NSA, and CIA. I would have joined the Guard, but I'm too years too old.

Great, now the little girl is giving us work advise. At 22 I was already a veteran, father, husband, and programmer. What are you? A spammer. How much writing skill does it take to spam a forum? Apparently not much.

Not really advice, she just told us about herself.

She may have some difficulty writing, obviously esl. Don't let the spamming bother you too much, just ignore her if you can, Walt. She really hasn't done anything to run her off the board, you know?

I suppose you're right. But I can't help feeling like she's the ugly waitress at the bar who has to offer her opinions on things that really don't concern her. Probably just me though.

"But I can't help feeling like she's the ugly waitress at the bar who has to offer her opinions on things that really don't concern her." You mean the one, she's eavesdropping when she should be getting your drink, then she spills half of it because your conversation is getting her attention? Mad Eeker Mad Yeah, I know her.

Just dropping in a men's board with no intro and spamming, yeah, I can see it, but she's harmless, maybe has some naked pix of her mother Eeker Cool
