One of the most magical moments of my life was being there for the birth of my son. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. To this day, spending time with my son better than any other activity. Well, dads here in Georgia are and throughtout the US are dealing with a self proclaimed “Sexist” judges who are preventing dads from being dads. During the onset of my child custody hearing back in May of 2007, Judge hearing my case Sidney L. Nation stated that he was a “Sexist” and ruled that I could visit with my son, however visitation had to be supervised by, and “Adult Female” one with some “Domestic Skills”. The judge went on to say that “Under No Circumstances” would he allow any man to have unsupervised overnight visitation with child under the age one. Clearly Judge Nation's is not gender-neutral, nor does he free the litigation process from predetermined assumptions regarding the relative roles and attributes of a men and woman in a child custody case. Yet, he's just one of many judges who are denying access to their kids. Whatever you can do to help us Dad's speakout against such awful gender bias discrimination would greatly be appreciated. God Bless!
