Tomorrow is Easter. We will spend the day by attending church services, then a brunch with my side of the family, and and evening meal gathering with the wife's.

I sometimes think trying to get everyone together every time there is a Holiday detracts from the experience, rather than adds to it. But, maybe that's just me. Seems like the Mom's really live for these days.

As a Dad, I love to see my kids, but I don't get all bent out of shape if one of them can't attend a family gathering. (My oldest is married and will spend the weekend with his wife's side of the family. The ladies on our side are all up in arms about it.)

How about you guys? Plans for the day? Is the family aspect of a Holiday as important to you as it is to the wife?

It depends on the holiday. Thanksgiving is big for me, Christmas for her, other holiday's are a mix.

We stayed at home here in South Carolina. All of our relatives are on the West Coast, in Texas or in Hawaii. We don't travel when the rest of the country is on the move. Our Easter was nice and quiet.

I stayed home also.

Happy Easter to all of you.

The definition of anxiety is having two cups of coffee and a bran muffin for breakfast, and then getting stuck in traffic.
