What did everyone end up reading this summer? I read a bit, most notably The Short Stories of Ernest Hemingway, The Actual by Saul Bellow, and The Cocktail Hour in Jackson Hole by an author named Hough. Kind of fun reading about the Jackson Hole of 50-60 years ago before Bill Gates, Harrison Ford and Cheryl Teages discovered it.

OK this my sound stupid but there is a good point to it. I have read two adolescent fiction books this summer. My son wanted to read but didn't want to do it by himself and bet me that I couldn't catch up to him after he was halfway through the second book in a series of 6. So to keep him interested in reading and for my younger daughter to pick up the interest in it also I raced him. So to date I have read two fictional tales by John Flannery about an Apprentice Ranger. I have also read a martial arts book written by the Grand Master of the art that I practice, and one book by Steven king
