What brokerage company do you use? Do you have a brokerage account?

Do you know your net worth?

How are you doing towards saving for retirement?

I know I'm not where I need to be, but I may have a leg up on others - I work for a local government, and am (as of this week) able to participate in the state public employees retirement plan. That means that with 10 years service, I qualify for a pension at age 65 (basically).

That said, I have a Roth IRA and a TIAA-CREF account from when I was in a 403(b). My wife has a regular IRA and a Roth.

I was foolish, and didn't start as soon as I should have. To help my son aviod that mistake, we have him set up with a Roth IRA.

We use Edward Jones for our investment stuff (except for the CREF stuff) and have been happy.
