Is anyone else going to watch this tonight? I am inclined to believe that this will be a deal-breaker for most of the Independents (including me) who have not made up their minds yet.

Well, considering the moderator is writing a book on Obama, I have my doubts about the whole thing. And I say that as a long time admirer of Gwen Iffal and her work on PBS.

It clearly gives the appearance of a conflict of interest, and her refusal to recognize that (and, in fact, saying that those questioning her conflict are racist) diminishes her in my eyes.

I probably won't watch, since I'm voting for Barr and Root.

I don't think either one really did anything to sway voters to their side. That being said I do think that Palin held up pretty well against Biden. He was very cautious to not attack her directly and keep his criticsim to McCain. I thought that Biden was reigned in for this, he is usually very much more energetic when he speaks. All in all to me it was a wash.

I'm voting for Barr also.

Didn't Biden drop out of a presidential race about 20 years ago for collegiate plegriarism? Not that it's a big deal, but they all kick the hell out of each other, and none of them are angels.

I can't believe the nastiness of the attacks on Palin. I know people who were saying she was the devil incarnate less than a day after she was announced as the VP candidate.

It was almost funny - they kept saying that we don't know anything about her, and in almost the same breath were saying how evil she was.

Like I said, almost funny.

I agree, in fact the attacks being made on all of them are over the top and turn me off on the whole election.
