You know, the ones with the really great, um, articles.

Hustler is for drooling, aging, ex-bikers. I know 'cause I saw one coming out of the local bookstore carrying an Hustler mag.

Penthouse - is that still published any more? Those letters were all true you know.

Got to cast my vote for the original - Playboy. No hardcore fisting porn, but great looking women, articles that you'd read anyway, and Hef. Man, that guy knows how to party.

I have not seen Penthouse in years. BTW those letters were true. I know, I lived numerous ones (okay maybe with my hand but still.....). Hustler was always good for a few laughs (one month they had a "skank" who claimed to be a virgin with the certificate to prove it).

Loved playboy. the girls are first class (although airbrushed) and the articles are thought provoking.

Ok, so no one else has ever looked at a "girlie" mag? Come on - which ones do/did you like the best?

I could never understand how a woman could pose for a magazine or in a video that basically degraded them with making them do anal or having men c*m on their faces.

OK, OK, I was away for a week or so.
Penthouse is still my favorite for pix, Playboy does have better articles, the 20 Questions was great, they had responses from John Lennon, Muhammad Ali and many other greats.

There was a magazine named OUI many years ago, it had really great pix, women semed very natural, not just large breasted bleach blondes that Playboy seems to favor. Gotta wonder how many had implants, but that's another story.

So how many wives liked the mags? My wife used to, haven't sat down with her and such a mag in years.

Neither wife has been a fan of any of those mags. But I did have a girlfriend in high school that would look with me.

Oui went skanky many many years ago.

OUI suddenly dove to skank and then out of sight, it was good for 2-3 years in the mid-70's. I think Playboy started it, then maybe someone else took over and ruined it.

Sheesh, how can you ruin a girlie mag, you have dozens of gorgeous women willing to strip and pose each month?? I'm thinking that was the time that even Playboy got way down under, explicit was in, OUI slid downhill and couldn't recover.

You guys havent lived!!! LOL!!!

Playboy is/was tops. Even with photo shop. Can't top Lisa Matthews 1991 either.

On a hilarious note, a friend of mine used to have me buy him "smut" in high school because I was 18 and he was 17 and the guy at the bait and tackle shop looked at ID.

So one day I go wandering in while he';s sitting in the car and grab him a Hustler because it says "Our Biggest Centerfold Ever!" on the cover.

I get to the car, hand it to him and start driving down the road as he's flipping through the pages. Pretty soon he's cussing and swearing at me calling me a GD dumb ass!

It truly was Huslter's biggest centerfold ever. She had to have weighed 300 lbs.
