How long have you been racing Popeye? My son (13) would love to do that...

Unfortunately, I do not play sports, too much. Hobby right now is doing leather work, attending Renaissance Faires with my lady, and partaking in events sponsored by the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism - they re-create the middle ages, etc. http://www.sca.org for reference).

I do work out with my son playing ball, since he play Little League, Soccer, etc.

actually this is my first year. i never raced as a child or a teen.

http://storage.msn.com/s1pZ8pl_R1n1zFLP_XRchhx00feGUjjH...ken=1842473424070936

both of my son's have been racing for a few years now.

the 17 yo is #1 Provincially for age and 15 yo rides the #2 plate for National Age Group.

17 races 20" bmx

i and second son do the 24" cruiser BMX.

neither started until they were 14.

BMX is fun...

there's lots of single moms.

-------

i took a good tumble on sunday past at a race. fullface helmets are a great idea and shoulder pads would have been. :_|

Man, that's great that you can do that with your boys.(And the single moms are a bonus!) Great pic. Sorry to hear about the tumble though. Guess its all part of the program, eh? Like what one of my old riding buddies used to say "Its not IF you dump your ride; its WHEN".. Hope you are just bruised, and not broken?
:O

Softball, baseball, soccer, tennis.

I also hunt (deer), fish (Muskie, Northern Pike, Walleye, Bass) and bird/animal watch. Had an 8 point buck walk though the yard last year. Restraint was used, I so badly want to pull the bow out and whack that deer!!! But I didn't.

i bike. I ride 16 miles a day and hit the trail hard. Takes my mind off lots of things: sex being one of them. For some reason after a long ride, i dont' miss it. Strange huh.

Mostly some hoops out in the driveway. I try to do some walking as time permits. Seems like a real challenge to stay physically active now.
