Hey, it's almost time for the season opener. I'm in a fantasy league again this year. Anyone else doing that?

Favorite teams? GO Chiefs! Boo Raiders! Does Green Bay still have a team?

No fantasy football here, can't find the time, don't really know the players. I'm in the SF Bay area, a local paper picked the top 50 in the NFL, not one 49er. Things were so different 10-15 years ago.

I told my friend the other day that putting $100 on Green Bay to lose every game and letting it ride could make a lot of money, of course, they will probably win 1 or 2, and stop the exponential accumulatin of wealth, maybe just put $200 or $300 on them to lose every week, rake it in every Monday. I don't dislike them, in fact I really respect Favre, but IT'S OVER, BRETT!!

Well, I'm 2-1 in fantasy football. Not too bad of a start.

In Boston, when Manny Ramerez does something stupid, we call it Manny being Manny. I think TO is just being TO (did he try to commit suicide? I doubt it.)

Yeah, my son asked me if I thought that TO tried to off himself, and I said no. I'm thinking he was just careless with medication, like he's careless with just about everything else he does.

thanks, the big problem is I let my wife know I hit it and now she wants her fair share of the cash to do whatever.

Well, it sure looks like Pittsburgh sucks this year. And the Raiders? Damn, they are awful.

I live in the sticks without cable, and am too cheap to get satellite, and man do I miss MNF.

Pittsburg really did hit a wall this year. On the other side of the spectrum, the Pats are doing better than most people expected and I think the Colts will do their usual choke come playoff time.
