Seems the posting here is quite bit less frequent than the old Best Life. This is unfortunate; the old Best Life was a great forum. This new one should be as good. Could the lower posting rate be because:
- Although you can link here from the MH forums, MH logins and passwords don't work. You need to create a new account, which is evident if you read the fine print, but not evident at first glance. How about the Best Life Guys grandfather anyone logged into MH to here when you're logged into MH and click on the new Best Life link from the MH forums?
- The forum is highly organized (segmented) and its sometimes tough to decide which subforum in the forum to pick from if you want to post. And you need to survey several forums to see what's new. How about the subforums be combined for easy viewing?
- The posts from the old Best Life are no longer available for viewing or adding to. It's kind of like they were executed. Many of them were excellent. Could they be made live again and added here?

Sure, the need for a forum for Best Life that is separate from MH because it's a separate publication is understandable. Some transitions would be helpful.

Good points. The old Best Life forum in the Men's Health forum section was already relatively low traffic. Now the segmentation into categories makes the place look deserted. Add to that the additional hurdles to get here and this place is in trouble. Over at the Men's Health site there was a diverse population in the forums who might have tended to participate in one section but could easily explore the others. Now we have separated off the section for the older readers who are already less inclined to spend time in online forums so the casual traffic here will drop. It's really a shame to lose a forum with such a collection of wisdom and experience. I hope that these issues can be addressed and that the Best Life readership can be encouraged to participate here.

The more conservative pace that Best Life had was refreshing. It reflected the charactertistics of the forum's posters. You knew you could log into it and would see thoughful posts. I can't understand why MH just made it disappear without any advertisement or a simple link. Can't understand either why it was made more difficult to use. Neither seems like a smart business decision!

...And have you noticed how none of the links at the top of these pages work? How would any of the former posters on MH find this forum. How would anyone go to the Best Life site from here. They don't seem too interested in fixing their problems.

I'm hoping the shakedown period will be brief.

I agree that it seems much slower here now. I believe they should archive the old Best Life forum somewhere. There was a lot of good information there. Seems like most of the group from the old Best Life forum aren't here anymore.
