Ok, I mean it this time - I'm going to get off the Mountain Dew dragon.

Any ideas on how to break the habit?

The wife and I just bit the bullet when we cut our cafeine down. You'll likely have a headache or two, but they will end in a few days. We are down to 1 cup of coffee, one black tea and one green tea per day. No soft drinks at all.

I got rid of the jitters when I did this, and my stomach thanks me.

I do continue to drink one glass of red wine or a beer everyday.

Well, I've now gone one day with out the Dew. For caffeine I had a cup of coffee this morning. Other than that it's been water only to drink.

No headache (think the coffee took care of that) and no jitters or the like so far.
