I hope it all went smoothly for you and that you will be around to post for a long time. It is still a tough way to lose weight.

I came across the "Rice Diet" a couple of weeks ago and have been studying it. It was developed in the 1930's by a German doctor who realized people who ate a lot of rice were missing certain diseases from their dossier. The diet has changed over the years to a point, but it is similar to the Mediterranean Diet I imagine, fruits, vegetables, grains, and as you lose weight and get healthier they add fish, some lean cuts of meats and eggs.

To hell with the Rice Diet. Life is way to short for that.

Welcome to the dark side O43.

I got an email yesterday from our Wellness Committee here at work. It told me to eat lots of whole grains, low/no fat dairy, and lean meats.

Funny how our "Wellness" people are so far behind on the facts of nutrition. I hope we don't pay them extra for their committee work. :-)
