Couple of questions here:

1) have you ever bought your SO lingerie?

2) what looks hotest to you? I'm a stockings and panties lover myself, although an old girlfriend had a really hot number that was some sort of skirt.

I have bought my wife lingerie in the past. She isn't too keen on it anymore however.

I had an old girlfriend who looked smoking in an old baseball jersey and panties. I find that erotic.

So if we guys like stuff like this, why is Victoria's Secret still in business?

VS is for the younger crowd I guess. WE are much more innovative in our pleasures.

Agree with that, there's more skin showing and it says "See what I've got?"

Got a bit of an angry look recently from my wife after I pointed out that a woman across the room had sensed that her thong was showing, but she tucked her shirt into her thong, instead of into her pants. Like we went blind when we got married?? Wink Cool Big Grin

The Secret is that only 19-22 years olds can looke good in what Victoria sells, I heard. Kinda funny, eh? Wink

Because women buy it to look and feel sexy, I think...you know, if you wear this, you will look like the model. Wink

When I go past or in with my wife, it always seems that there are many more women.

Also it makes it easy for us to find something that looks good and sexy, I guess

Saw Sex in the City last night, my wife likes it a lot, of course.

Sarah Jessica Parker has a DYNAMITE body, and she was wearing a nearly transparent bra, nipples showing through...very nice, and not something you would expect to see on TV. Cool Wink

I do have to confess, several years ago I bought my wife some pajamas from VS. That was when VS was making stuff that real women would wear.

I also got her a robe that is probably the best I've ever seen, very heavy terrycloth.

Remember Jill Goodacre (sp)? She was the main model for a long time. She married Harry Connick Jr.

Hey, isn't the Victoria's Secret fashion show on tonight? Wink

While late to this discussion, I did have an encounter with a gal sporting (and showing) a thong and my then 8 year old son.

She was in her late 20's, I'd say. Not too tall but not petite. Her hair was dark brown. My son was fascinated at her when she bent down to get a carton of milk from the refrigerated case. It could have been juice, who knows.

"Daddy, what is that?"

I looked over and said "Oh... um"

Hardly a stellar answer I know, but I at 8 I thought best not to continue to conversation.

Think fast. Make it sound fatherly. "Well, I don't know... lets keep looking for mommy." So much for fatherly.

She bends down again, and again it is there in plain site. Look! Black lace and everything.

"Do you think its her underwear?"

Great. He's still working on it. Despite being bright, he sometimes can't find the socks in the open drawer in front of him. But this, THIS he keeps finding.

Try again for something fatherly.

"Hmmm.. Maybe. Didn't your mother say she would meet us here?"

"Maybe she doesn't know its sticking out."

"Ummm, Maybe... lets..."

"Can I tell her we see her underwear?"

"Ya know, I bet your mom is in produce. Lets go!"

Well, yes.
Very impractical & only serves one function:
Bras with holes for the nipples, a cat-suit that have panties only as an option.
Crazy stuff.

Now we do fine with a nice warm flannel gown or shirt-dress (from "Vickie's" Secret, no less)
that buttons all the way up or down. That's more fun.

You know, there was a time when Vickie's Secret sold more than just more expensive Fredrick's of Hollywood stuff. I bought my wife a nice sleep shirt and a really nice robe from there several years ago. The robe is still in service, but the sleep shirt went to the great pj store in the sky.

That said, I like the more traditional lingerie, the peek-a-boo and bizarre stuff looks too much like a cheap 70's porno.
