I want to know if I am being unrealistic to expect my wife to have sex more then once a week after 15 years of marriage?

married 17 yrs- once a week would be an upgrade for me!

27 years married. I have officially joined the "once a month" club. But not by my choosing!

....and last night was my night! She even suggested it! Maybe things are looking up!

I hope so.

why does she want it only once a week? have you ever discussed her reasoning.

Normally its about 2 times a week. Just got back from vacation, been every night for a week now, mostly at her suggestion. I'm afraid if I stop getting it nightly we'll go back to the "I'm tired, hurry up and get it over with" mode.

I have been married 12 year, been with her 18 and only have sex about once a month. We will go through periods where we have sex once or twice a day.. but this is rare!!

I think we as a society put far too much emphasis on the amount of sex we have. We only look at how empty the 1/2 glass of milk is...

The frequency of sex is different for every couple and what they are happy with. Some couples are fine with sex once a month whereas some couples need to have sex several times a week. Communication is the key.

Both parties should want to please the other while having their own desires fufilled.

11 years and learned sex starts in the kitchen...

wake up at 4:30 go to the gym...because this use to take time from the family and she would complain from time to time with me going...so now I juts wake up and and she never complains...

come home wake everyone up usually do breakfast after doing the dishes and take the kids to school on my way to work at 7:00

The more little things I do the more life is great...but we are good in life right now...

So CAl and loving it...the beach is fun the weather is great...making money and saving money...first time ever I have been good in life...

Now that I said that...something bad is going to happen... :_|

Second marriage for me, my first wife passed away after a long bout with M.S. First marriage was sex once a month or less when she was healthy we had kids and many little problems. Second wife is 9 years younger and sex is like being in a candy store as a little kid!!! I do every little thing I can for her and she returns my love with her love....Thank you GOD!!!!!

Married 17 years this past weekend...........and I would say we average having sex somewhere in the neighborhood of 8-12 times a month......just depends on some things. Life, the kids, work, school...etc.....

Better now than it was some years ago............. :-)

My spouse and I have seventeen years between ourselves. When we first starting dating we couldn't get enough of each other, meaning seven eight times per day. Now, we know each other even better, and the sex is great....and reality has set in, yet on weekends, we have sex at minimum six times per day. We are honest with each other, and that makes it work...so try honesty
